If Nvidia is good and they guide to $30 billion, think about this: this company made $6 billion a year ago, up to $30 billion a quarter. From $6 billion to $30 billion. The stock went from $100 to $197 or $937, up 15%. Where does it go? $1,100? $1,200? $1,300? $1,500? Or does it collapse to $600, $500, $650?
Articles non-stop. How five or six upgrades this morning, everybody says they're going to beat and guide higher. If it does, Super Micro Computer ($SMCI) should fly. If it does, Nvidia should fly. Microsoft ($MSFT) should fly. Snowflake ($SNOW) should fly. Advanced Micro Devices ($AMD) should fly. Lam Research ($LRCX) should fly. Rip of Ages. If it misses, everything collapses way, way, way lower. Everything implodes. Everything goes to...
You have to know that. Trading 101. Learning to become great. How do you become great? You don't over-risk. Why do you think—let's say you're starting trading or you're 50 years old or 20 years old—why do you think you can come in? Oh, everybody's talking about Nvidia. It's great. I'm going to put in $20,000. And if it goes to $18,000, your wife's going to kick your ass. You're going to cry and whine. You're going to say it took me all these years to make this money, and this guy on Twitter told me it's going to go up. He's an...
Anything can happen. It can go up. It can go down. And the only way to become great is to understand that and don't over-risk. Now, if you're looking to make millions and millions, you go watch my video, and that's how you do it. You have a $20,000 account, $10,000 account. You go do $100 trades. You put $100 in SMCI. You put $100 in Nvidia. You put $100 in Carvana ($CVNA), blah blah. When something goes up—Carvana goes up $2 in the first five minutes—you sell it. You make $200. It covers your Nvidia that goes up. You sell it. SMCI—you sell it. You make $300, $400, and you keep rolling up, rolling up, rolling up. And maybe at some point in a month or two months or three months or eight months or a year or two years or five years or 10 years, you have $10,000 or $20,000, $30,000, $40,000, $100,000 profit, and you say, I'm going to take a shot. But you don't do it with your own money. You don't take risk. You don't whine like a child. That's trading. That's how you become great.
Now, today I want to talk a little bit about premiums. We're going to talk about them now at the event. Going to give you clues on premiums, and you should be able to figure that out in 10 minutes. Okay, and I'm going to give you this before I start here: MicroStrategy ($MSTR), $500 out of the money. So way back when MicroStrategy was at $700, we bought the $800 calls $50 out of the money for $7. $50 out of the money on a money day for $7. The following week, $50—I mean, $500 out of the money were $7. Think about that. Last week, two weeks ago, Nvidia 2000s for 50 cents. The stock was at $300. The 2000s were 50 cents. Now the 2000s are $25. I'm sorry, $16. $16 today. Think about that. 500 points out of the money. Let me tell you, people that get wiped out don't pay attention.
Okay, why? Even if you think MicroStrategy is going to pop today—and it may—it may go to 200 points this week, maybe 300. Why would you buy $50 out of the money? I mean $500 out of the money. Doesn't make any sense. Have to make sense. GameStop ($GME)—is Kitty real? Is it not real? I don't know. I don't think so. I don't think he's real. If it comes out that he's real, the stock's going to open at 70 or 80, maybe 100. If it turns out he's not real, it's going to 10 bucks. And because if he's not real, that stock will never move again the rest of your life. It's completely gone, done, zero. They'll have to change the name. I'm just telling you, it's very straightforward.
Now, pin action on Nvidia too. If an Nvidia chip is selling that much, that means the box has to sell that much. So Dell ($DELL) is moving. SMCI is moving. HP ($HPQ) possibly is moving. IBM ($IBM) possibly is moving. Lam Research is moving. Applied Materials ($AMAT) is moving. KLA Corporation ($KLAC) is moving. Uh, all the chips are moving. But it's still about monetization. Does monetization happen? Then we see.
Okay, one other thing. Last thing, we'll get started here. Mike Wilson raised his price target to 5400. Mike Wilson, who over 100 times on TV says we're crashing. Let me tell you again, if you say something 100 times and you're wrong 100 times, you suck worse than anybody in the world. You suck that much. Isn't that funny? I'm just being real. Reality, reality, reality, reality. Okay, that's what we know. That's what we know.
When we talked about Coinbase ($COIN) on Friday, everybody thinks—and this is Wall Street because Wall Street and CEOs are eternally stupid—90% of CEOs are not half as smart as me. I'm smarter than all of them. I told you Disney ($DIS) can't compete and build the streaming service in a year. Has zero chance. Zero chance. And now CME Group ($CME) says they're going to build an exchange and trade. Now Coinbase—their business will go to zero because everybody can cut their fees. Absolutely, and they will. But don't think you can do it in a year. It's going to take you two or three years. Okay, so just understand that.
You just can't—a guy on TV just said he's trying to build new restaurants and the cost was supposed to be $900,000. It was $1.4 million when they signed the contract. Think about that. That's what's going on. He also said one other thing. He goes, if you try to work restaurant workers too hard, they tell you to f-off, and they walk across the street and make more money. Isn't that interesting? That's the world we live in. That's the world we live in. Okay, that's what we know. That's what we know. Let's get started.
