Weekly Plan 01.22.24
Good Morning Traders-
UNBELIEVABLE! IT’S NOT OVER. IT IS JUST STARTING.
They don’t understand… SAM understands.
And I posted it, and I told you Friday. What does the SMCI 0.00%↑ guide up mean?
Wow. It means for them to make more computers. Two quarters ago they said they couldn’t get more chips so they were gonna miss. So, that means NVDA 0.00%↑ has to be selling more chips or AMD 0.00%↑ or both. It means LRCX 0.00%↑ has to be selling more equipment to make more memory to put in these computers. It means AMZN 0.00%↑ has to be buying the boxes, MSFT 0.00%↑ has to be buying the boxes, GOOGL 0.00%↑ has to be buying the boxes for them to make more money. It means SNOW 0.00%↑ may be getting more people using their services. It means DDOG 0.00%↑ may be selling more Cloud features, so Cloud way up.
Okay, clouds way up. All memory are WAY UP, so think about the comments, guys.
You have to listen to Sam's comments and you have to listen to the absolute people that don't know anything commenting back to Sam. This guy's like, 'Oh, AMD 0.00%↑ needs a pullback. It needs a pullback.' What if it's NVDA 0.00%↑ and it goes to 210 before the earnings and you miss it, then it pulls back 10% so it drops from 200 to 180, it's still higher than when the guy tells me it needs a pullback at 160. That's a moronic comment.
People like, 'Oh, NVDA 0.00%↑ is not worth 350, it's going to be a one-quarter thing.' How can it be a one-quarter thing if Zuckerberg is doing a video saying how many chips he's got? I mean, just think, think of all this.
BA 0.00%↑ goes up and Sam says they didn't announce the findings. If you don't find anything immediately, you say there's nothing. 'Oh, we're going to go back to the office and we're going to discuss it.' What are you going to discuss if there's nothing? Today, oh, we found more loose bolts. Guys, news is news, it's not complex.
And then all of a sudden you have NOW 0.00%↑ getting a $900 Target today, not 800, 900.
SMCI 0.00%↑, just do the math if you do semiconductors usually at 25-30 times PE is a good number. If you take $22 and multiply it by 20, you're at $440. Now you're at $450 on SMCI 0.00%↑. But if this is not a one-quarter thing and this is a life-changing play. See, people don't understand. In three years, if AI is everywhere, then SMCI 0.00%↑ is probably 600-700. NOW 0.00%↑ is at 1000. AMD 0.00%↑ is at 300-400. LRCX 0.00%↑ is easily 1000, maybe 1200. ADBE 0.00%↑ probably 800. NVDA 0.00%↑ probably 900 to 1000.
Guys, the world is changing.
Take everything you learn from your education and throw it away. Burn the books. I'm telling you, burn the books.
Let me tell you the stuff I still see in college. This is what I see: absolute stupidity.
Colleges start charging you $100,000, and you have to take calculus and do a triple integral. You have to solve a triple integral. Nobody in their lifetime, for the rest of their lives, if you're in college, they should be telling you to write the equation, solve the equation. That's just stupid. It's just stupid because the computer is going to do it for you. They're wasting people's time. People like, 'Oh, I need to study World War I.' What the hell is good as World War I? It's worthless. Guys, the world is changing. The smart people are moving forward; only stupid is doing this stuff.
I would go into a class in college, and I would cripple the guy, and then he would cry. He would cry, okay? And then he'd tell the dean, and they'd kick me out. Then they kick me out, okay?
Because all this stuff is dumb.
Why do you need to read The Iliad and The Odyssey? Now, really explain that to me.
It's AI. Okay?
So now, things to look for that will change your life if they happen. Two things. There are a few stocks that can be like SMCI 0.00%↑. Not saying they're going to be. LLY 0.00%↑, if Eli Lilly announces either of these two things, the stock is probably at 750 or 800, up 100 in one day. If they announce they have a pill form of Zapbound, that means you don't take an injection; you take a pill. If they say they have that pill, it's going to go up 100. But then there's one more thing on LLY 0.00%↑ that can go up 100. Okay, and that is, does anybody know? Type it in.
Type it in. Come on, quiz, quiz, quiz. Are you thinking like Sam? Come on, come on. Nobody's typing. Come on. No, not a guide. Come on, spanking time. Jesus. Come on. No, nobody's got it. And this is why there's only one Sam.
They have an Alzheimer's drug. And there is no approved Alzheimer's drug. And if the Alzheimer's drug gets approved, even if it only works for 20% of the people, if it works, it will be a trillion-dollar company, and it will be up 100 to 150 in one day. I don't know when that happens. It could be next week, or it could be in five years, but it's there.
Okay, so SMCI 0.00%↑ looks like 500 coming, 482 is very hard. MSFT 0.00%↑ looks like 405. If it gets over, it's gone. Okay, NOW 0.00%↑ it's got an upgrade to 900 today. It's going to go nuts. Why is BA 0.00%↑ not down 30? Okay, NFLX 0.00%↑, I don't know about Netflix. Okay, on their earnings, no reason to play it.
Guys, here is something that I'm going to tell you, and if you're a smart trader, you'll listen, and if you want to struggle on your own, you won't.
If NVDA 0.00%↑ is moving and we're buying Nvidia and making money. If AMD 0.00%↑ is moving and we're buying AMD and moving, and LRCX 0.00%↑ is flying and we're buying Lam Research. It's moving, and ADBE 0.00%↑ is flying, and we're making money on Adobe, and we're making money on SNOW 0.00%↑, we're making money on SMCI 0.00%↑, we're making money on MSFT 0.00%↑. Why are you playing secondary and third-tier stocks? Literally, 20 questions this weekend on, 'Do you like this? Do you like this? Do you like this?' It's okay to send it to me. I don't have a problem with the questions. The questions are okay.
Okay, so keep sending them to me, but my answer is the same to everyone. Why are you playing a second and third-tier stock? I mean, this guy tells me Lam Research has moved up. You need to be playing MSKY . I don't even know what the hell that stock is. It's a semiconductor equipment, so it's not first tier. It's not Lam Research, AMAT 0.00%↑, KLAC 0.00%↑, ASML 0.00%↑. Those are the four fifth tier. It's not second tier. Teradyne and teradata all these other ones. So, it's third or fourth tier. Why am I playing fourth tier? 'Oh, it's gonna go up. It's $60. It can go to $62. What the hell? Guys, you looking to make 5%. Like 'Fast Money' on 'Fast Money', those guys don't understand anything.
Okay, CRWD 0.00%↑, almost 300.
PANW 0.00%↑, Microsoft got hacked.
MSFT 0.00%↑ has a product that competes with CrowdStrike. Got hacked. Look at this SMCI 0.00%↑ go, this gonna be 480-500 today. Holy shit. I mean, we had the 480s Friday. Think about this. Sam buys a 100 contracts of the 480s for next week at $4. Within two minutes, they're $8. I'm up $40,000 in less than two minutes. Then they go to seven, then they go to eight. So Sam dumps them at eight. He takes $440,000 in. You make $40,000 in less than five minutes, and now they're worth $900,000. Please beat me. Okay, I mean, please beat me. But here's the thing. A guy yesterday posted a chart on SPX. 'Oh, we need a pullback. We need a pullback.' Blue sky breakout. So here's the thing.
People look at charts, and here's the problem with charts, guys. I'm going to tell you. First, it doesn't incorporate it does not incorporate news. Okay? Only a moron is playing something without looking at the news. Yes moron, okay, have to look at the news. Think about this. If TSLA 0.00%↑ comes out, people like, 'Oh my God, Tesla chart looks great.' What if Elon comes out and says, 'I'm leaving the company, and I'm going to sell all my Tesla stock,' and you're going to say, 'But my chart looks good.' Really? I mean, unbelievable. I'm I'm I'm just flabergasted at somebody would do this. Okay? Im amazed that someone would look at a chart without seeing news. Makes no sense. No sense. You guys can send me charts. I don't have a problem with any of this. But just know the news matters.
Okay, food prices. Do you think food prices are down, guys? Look at type in. Do you really think food prices are down? I'm going to tell you what I think in a minute. Go ahead. Yes or no. Come on. Come on. Come on.
Yes or no, guys. I'm trying to get you to learn. You have to answer. If you don't answer, no, no, no, no. I actually think they are down. Okay, they are down. Okay, so if food prices are down, what stock can move 200 points? I'm not saying they're going to. Come on. There you go, Rebecca. Got it. Gold star.
Okay, hold on. I'm going to go to the store. I'm going to buy some gold stars. Okay, so if anybody comes over, you're going to get a gold star. There you go, on your head. There you go. Okay, interesting. Interesting. Okay, so think about this. Okay, think about what SMCI 0.00%↑ means. Okay? And Sam sold NVDA 0.00%↑ on Friday. All of it. Shit, we closed up a million dollars for the year and 3 weeks. Had to take some profits. Now we're loaded in ADBE 0.00%↑. We're loaded in LLY 0.00%↑. We got so much SNOW 0.00%↑. We don't know what to do with it. We got so much AMD 0.00%↑. We got so much MSFT 0.00%↑. It, we're going to open up 500 Grand today again.
Okay, but you take your profits because just like my World Trade Center thing, just like my World Trade Center thing, okay? Everything can go to zero tomorrow. It could go there today. If they reverse this market, so you take your profit, and you don't care.
I mean, I have like 220K in the market right now, so if everything goes to shit this week, I'm gonna be up 900K for the year. What's wrong with that? That's how you play. You start small. You build your account. You move half out, and you play with a piece of it. And if everything goes bad, you don't care. That's it. That's it. That's it.
Okay? That's what we know. That's what we know.
Let's get started.
Good morning. Good morning, everybody.
1/22 stocks go up, stocks go down.
What's SPX? SPX is up 17. Blue sky breakout at 17 to this. You're at 48. Let's say 20, yeah, so fast math. I'm going to teach you how to do Fast Math. You swag it. You swag it, and then subtract the other end. Okay? So if you don't want to add 17 to 39, what you do is you roll up. You do the math. You make 4840. You add 22 at 4860. Subtract four. Okay? 4856. That's swag math. That's how you do math. Stunningly fast. Okay? 4872, 4900. 4931.
