Discipline And Strategy

At Finom Group, we have a bountiful amount of data and track record to support investor/trader skill set and growth. Since 2017, we have maintained our “1% for 1%+ trading strategy”. Here is the definition of this strategy, on license and with copyrights, employed by hedge funds, Wall Street institutions and here at finomgroup.com. ✅ The definition and core principles of the 1% for 1%+ strategy are as follows:

Only trade what you are willing and/or already own as a long-term investment

Once a core long-term investment has been established, begin the process of trading small 1% (weighting) positions for 1%+ profits

Each 1% for 1%+ profit achieved would lower the overall cost average of the core long-term investment. *Because brokerage accounts should be set to LIFO for this strategy, your brokerage will NOT be able to quantify the lower cost average, and such calculations should be self-tracked for efficacy and capital gains tax purposes*

The psychology of 1% for 1% allows for unprofitable scalp/swing trade attempts ample time in the trading attempts

Where more time is permitted, success/hit rates for the 1% for 1%+ strategy are elevated

The mix of investments in a 1% for 1%+ portfolio are heavily skewed in favor of ETFs over individual stocks/options

The individual stock picks within the 1% for 1%+ strategy are skewed toward Large-cap Growth/Nasdaq 100/S&P 500

95% of sector ETFs and 81% of industry ETFs have achieved ongoing all-time highs in their existence

The investment mix reinforces the time and psychology components of the 1% for 1%+ strategy, backtested with 97% positivity rate for all ETF trades and within the Golden Capital Portfolio since 2012
