Daily Plan 01.30.24
Good morning traders-
Stocks go up, stocks go down.
How about SMCI 0.00%↑ ? Unbelievable! They guided up by $3B, guys, three billion!
So let's analyze this. Okay? You got people that love these little garbage companies that make like a billion dollars, and they guide up by a million, five million, eight million. And then you got these companies that are doing billions better. I mean, think about SMCI 0.00%↑ . It's at $550 or was at $560. It was $300 two Fridays ago. It was $300! It's almost doubled. The CEO's comments are off the chart. “We have unprecedented demand that's going to last for decades.” I actually think he's right. I actually think NVDA 0.00%↑ will be worth double what AAPL 0.00%↑ is worth because as we move forward, you're going to need these computers to do everything in life. Everything in life. I mean, the cities that, like Dubai, are making a complete city of the future. All this stuff is going to happen over time.
Okay, so that's what we know. That's what we know.
SPX, it broke this 4909, and boom, exploded up 20 just like that. Sam's numbers, they're so accurate, guys. Trade around the numbers. Okay, so what happens today? Do we dive? Maybe. Is there going to be a war? Doesn't matter. But MSFT 0.00%↑ , if Microsoft is good, it's probably about 420. But Microsoft is subscription-based. That takes NOW 0.00%↑ up. That takes ADBE 0.00%↑ up. But then there's another side to Microsoft, guys. What's the other important aspect of Microsoft? Let's see if you think like Sam, type it in. Come on, type it in. It's a one-word thing. You only got to type in one word.
Cloud.
If their cloud is growing great. Now, if they're growing great, now there's a possibility it's not great too because just because they're buying chips and buying the machines doesn't mean that they've already rented out all that stuff, right, or people are using them. So it's always a possibility. But if cloud is good, and now you have GOOGL 0.00%↑ too. If their cloud is good, then SNOW 0.00%↑ , ORCL 0.00%↑ , DDOG 0.00%↑ , MDB 0.00%↑ , all those start taking off huge. Huge.
Okay, how about that ADBE 0.00%↑ ? We told you last week, Adobe was so set up. Adobe went nuts in the first five minutes. And I did get only one message from somebody said, "Sam, I didn't sell them." I said, "You bought the 635s, we bought the 650s, got the 670s. You didn't sell any. Come on, guys. Come on."
Okay, you got to sell something. Okay?
I mean, and then we see. Then we see.
Today, AMD 0.00%↑ , somebody came out and said AMD isn't going to beat by a lot, and they may miss. Okay, but if you go farther down and read, they think that they're going to go to a two billion a quarter run rate in a year with AI. Now, AI, one of the guys said, " NVDA 0.00%↑ has CUDA, which is an operating platform that lets you program all these things and do what you want to do, and AMD's is shit." OK?
So now that's what they're saying. Now, I don't know if AMD 0.00%↑ is going to be good or bad. We've made our money in it. We're good. But if AMD 0.00%↑ is good, NVDA 0.00%↑ is probably 650. Okay? And if SMCI 0.00%↑ is selling computers, that means LRCX 0.00%↑ and ASML 0.00%↑ are good. And then we see. The logic is very straightforward. Does it mean we go down? Maybe we go down. Who knows? Don't care. Sam doesn't care… because we'll make money either side.
But the logic is simple here. It's going higher.
LLY 0.00%↑ trying to break up. Does it finally get through 652 and spike? Lily could actually move exactly like ADBE 0.00%↑ moved at open.
Okay, SMCI 0.00%↑ . Maybe they take it down to 530ish and they rip it back up to 570, 580 if MSFT 0.00%↑ is good. Okay, maybe even higher. Then we see. Then we see.
TSLA 0.00%↑ is moving up because of this Neuralink and all that other stuff and so not because Tesla is good. So don't get disillusioned there.
One thing on LLY 0.00%↑ , keep an eye on this. North Carolina stopped their healthcare, stopped paying for obesity drugs, so they're going to lose all that money. They said 25,000 people. But here's the thing. They don't have enough product, so they can sell it somewhere else. So I don't think it's an issue.
And then we see. Then we see. Then we see.
That's what I know. That's what I know. That's what I know.
Let's get started.
Good morning. Good morning, everybody. 1/30.
SPX 4952, 4972, 5000. Then do we drop? Maybe. Then we see. Then we see. Then we see. Underneath 4891, 4852.
